Welcome to Titchmarsh Pre-School. We are a voluntary organization which was first established in 1985.
Situated on the High Street in Titchmarsh, we are a community pre-school, affiliated to the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and we are governed by a parent run voluntary committee. We are Ofsted registered and were last inspected in January 2011, when we achieved the rating of ‘good’.
Titchmarsh Pre-School is fully inclusive and we welcome all children from 2 years 6 months old. We currently have children from Titchmarsh, and the surrounding towns and villages such as Thrapston, Raunds and Clopton. Many of our children go on to Titchmarsh C of E Primary School and we maintain strong links with the school.
The Staff at Titchmarsh Pre-School believe that young children learn best through play in a safe, caring and stimulating environment. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and plan activities which enable the children to explore, discover and learn in both the indoor and outside environment. Each child is allocated a staff member who becomes their ‘key person’. The key person will observe your child to ensure that they are developing in all areas of the curriculum and plan activities to move them onto their next stage of learning.
We value our parents and carers. You know your children better than anyone else and we welcome your wealth of information and knowledge about your children. We share our records with you and invite you to comment and make suggestions for your children’s next steps. We are available for you to come and speak with us at any time, or if you want to, just come in and spend some time in the Pre-School.

* If your child is attending the full 9:15am to 2:45pm session please provide them with a packed lunch, there is no need to send a drink as this will be provided for them.
Alternatively, children can attend the morning session and stay for lunch or they can come for lunch before the afternoon session.
